Lotte Cunnell (b. 1996) is an artist from London. She has BA in Fine Art from Leeds Arts University (2019), and an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art (2023). She uses manipulation of the photographic process to interrogate and interrupt the transaction of looking between the subject and viewer. She works intuitively and experimentally with materials and processes, seeking to find the point at which material and concept can feed into and create a dialogue with one another. Working with the themes of subjectivity, femininity and illness, she weaves in narratives related to family history, the land and art historical representation, viewing photography as a process of transformation to reframe and pierce time.
